Other stuff

A major part of my life has always been music – either as a listener or performer. I still play the guitar although my main instrument is the viola which I play as well as I can (which isn’t as well as it should be) in symphony orchestras in Cambridge, UK, where I live. I love listening to music in a wide variety of genres, not just the western classical tradition. I also enjoy reading contemporary fiction (and writing it), going to the cinema, eating well and appreciating good wine. There will be more about all this on my features page, which also has interviews with people I would like you to meet, amongst other things.
