The Ministerio d'educacion in Santiago, Chile, asked me to do a session on teaching large classes. I had a large group of teachers in the room with me, another group watching in a separate room, and quite few folowing the session online.

At one stage, I heard myself saying that the only difference between small and large classes was 'size' - which is either very wise or incredibly stupid! Take your pick!
