ELT and fiction author, trainer and presenter, proud father
I first met JJ at a Pearson Longman conference in Lisbon some years ago. Since then we have coincided at other conferences and teacher seminars in places as far afield as Sao Paulo and Venice.
JJ is a highly successful co-author of English language teaching books such as Language to Go, Total English and he is the sole author of How to Teach Listening – the latest book in our How to series. He is also an accomplished writer of fiction, something I have often enjoyed discussing with him. JJ is a fine presenter at teachers’ conference and seminars, always impressing teachers with his wit, intelligence and sympathy. But mostly, right now, he’s a really proud brand-new father – something you will gather from his interview!
